Small Works

I've been making some small 4x6 wrapped canvases and having a lot of fun making concise statements. In the majority of these I used faded pages from an 1890s ledger book filled with that wonderful penmanship of the era and photos from my Grandma's 1920s photo album. From left to right, top to bottom: A Catch, Lung Fever in Hogs (the writing is a recipe for treating that!), New perspective on Marie, 60 degrees 22 min., Risque Business, and Sisters with 16. If you click on the photo above, it will enlarge so you can see the details better.

  1. Hi Lori

Just checking in to see what you've been doing. Like the small pieces, but REALLY like the Nostalgia piece.

Good stuff from a great lady.

  2. Hi Lori, my name is Paula Beth, I use Beth for my blog. I enjoyed your collages. They are very soothing, the lines are soft, and easy on the eyes. It's wonderful that you use family memorabilia.
I'm trying to learn collage myself.
