Just back from Italy...

I spent the month of December in Italy and came back with many photos to work with for art. This is the first of many to come. It started with a photo of Riomaggiore,  a village in Cinque Terre, and I overlaid text in the sky from a letter displayed in a museum in Bologna. The panel is 12"H x 9"W.

Another Christmas commission

I made this 18"H x 24"W piece to be gifted to a man whose heritage is Chinese and Hawaiian.

Commission for the holidays

This was commissioned as a Christmas gift for a recently married couple. In addition to the strips of imagery, you can see in the detail shot that I added more flowers to the meadow with tissue paper and a grassy handmade paper gives texture to the field.

Anniversary Commission

I took a photo of my aunt and uncle's farm and made this collage for them at the request of their daughter. She gave it to them for their 60th wedding anniversary in October. It is 12"H x 24"W.
